Originally from San Diego, California, Adam Cochran is a painter now based in Sacramento. Mainly working with figuration, he explores ideas of memory, time, light, ineptitude, absence, solitude, aging, family, masculinity, and inevitability. His recent work has been exhibited in New Wave at Axis Gallery in Sacramento, CA, with two upcoming shows scheduled there, including a solo show. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from California College of the Arts in San Francisco in 2014 and his Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from the University of California, Davis in 2019. He is currently a member of Axis Gallery in Sacramento.
